Mechanism of Action

Improving Immunity - improves the body's defense against disease by improving the cell-mediated immunity.

Anti-stress – Managing cortisol level

Anti-oxidant - by increasing the activities of cellular antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase [SOD]; catalase [CAT]; glutathione S-transferase [GST]; heme oxygenase 1 [HO-1]; NADPH dehydrogenase, quinone 1 [NQO1]; nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 [Nrf2,])

Anti-inflammatory - by inhibiting prostaglandin (PGE2) synthesis by cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and nitric oxide production by inhibiting nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and release of interleukins (IL-6 and IL-1β) and nuclear factor κ light chain enhancer of activated B cells (NFκB).

Sexual health – by helping to reduce oxidative stress and improve the antioxidant potential of seminal plasma;  Also by preventing the stress induced cortisol-mediated decrease in testosterone level, as well as exerts an inhibitory action of prolactin on sperm production.
